Parish Meeting - 6th November 2024

The Parish Meeting will be held in the Concourse at Beau Sejour at the conclusion of the meeting convened by the Churchwardens which commences at 7.30pm on Wednesday 6th November 2024.

Nominations are invited for election to the following Parish roles:

ONE Constable for a three-year term of office until 31st December 2027.

SIX Douzeniers, five for a four-year term until 31st December 2028, one to complete a three-year term until 31st December 2027.

ONE Member of the Amherst and Vauvert Infants and Junior Schools' Committee.

Nomination forms for the above roles may be downloaded below, together with the St Peter Port Douzaine information booklet which provides further detail about the election process and the roles of Constable and Douzenier.  Hard copies will also be available for collection from the Parish Constables Office in Lefebvre Street.

The nomination period for all roles closes at 4pm on Monday 28th October 2024.

The Parish Office is open from 10am until 2pm Mon-Fri for the receipt of nomination forms, but will remain open until 4pm on Monday 28th October.

 

In addition to the elections at the meeting, the Electors and Ratepayers of St Peter Port will also be asked:

  • To appoint auditors for the Parish accounts for the year 2024.
  • To appoint auditors for the Procureur of the Poor account for 2024.
  • To fix the time at which Parish Meetings shall be held during 2025.
