Below is a little information about each candidate.
Kelly was born and raised in Guernsey and has lived in St Peter Port for over a decade. She says
'I love the diversity that St Peter port offers from the hustle bustle of the High Street to the peaceful areas where you can get away from it all and have some quiet reflection time. I feel that my enthusiasm and passion for the parish is a positive attribute for this position, together with the skill sets that I have picked up in my career. I have been involved in pensions, accounting, trust and company work over my career, which require accuracy and interpersonal skills, together with self-motivation and organisation. Working as part of a team is part of my daily life and I feel that this will help me in the position of douzenier.'

Anita has been a resident of Guernsey for seven years, six of which she has been based in St Peter Port. She says
'I have always invested in the area I live in, be it financially, or with time, supporting or volunteering for good causes. As a douzenier I have the chance to offer my experience and give back to society as a resident, grandparent, mum, friend and member of the business community. I came here from the UK mainland where I was educated and spent the majority of my working life within Blue Chip corporations in the IT world before moving to this beautiful island. I am extremely proud to live here and call it my home and to participate in the island's general welfare. If successful I hope to assist in some of the back office IT digitisation projects and offer a balanced view on behalf of the residents dog owners, digital business, retailers and hospitality sectors and be a voice for the community.'
